Bee Wilde Beeswax Candles
Bee Wilde Beeswax Candles are made from the “cappings” that the bees seal the honeycomb with. The cappings are manufactured by the honeybees during a strong nectar flow – the nectar provides the much needed energy that the bees use to produce the wax. During the extraction of the honey, the cappings are cut off. They are washed with clean water and melted. Once the wax has been melted we filter the liquid wax through fabric, this removes any large particles of propolis, pollen that may cause the candles not to burn well. Once the wax is clean, we pour into candle molds with pure cotton wicks.
